Do I need Diablo IV base game to play Lord of Hatred?

Yes. You must have the Diablo IV base game to experience the Lord of Hatred content. For new players who don’t already have Diablo IV, you can purchase the Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection which includes the base game, Vessel of Hatred, and Lord of Hatred – Standard Edition.

Where can I get the first expansion, Vessel of Hatred?

If you already own the base game, all you need to do is purchase any edition of the Lord of Hatred Expansion, which also includes Vessel of Hatred. For new players, we recommend the Age of Hatred Collection, a bundle that comes with the base game, Vessel of Hatred, and Lord of Hatred – Standard Edition.

Can I purchase more than one purchase edition? Will I get more rewards?

You will need to purchase Lord of Hatred once per platform you want to play on. For example, to play on both Xbox and Battle.net you would need to get Lord of Hatred on each of those platforms separately. You will not get additional rewards for multiple purchases. If you want to upgrade the edition you purchased, upgrades to Deluxe and Ultimate Editions will be available in-game. Alternatively, you can also upgrade the Battle.net versions in the purchase panel above.

How do I equip my instant unlock rewards from purchase?

After purchase, instantly available items will be delivered in-game after next login. Pets can be unlocked in-game then equipped via the Wardrobe, along with the class armor sets. Mounts can be unlocked in-game, then view your mount collection to equip.

What Season is the Premium Battle Pass Bundle for?

This Premium Battle Pass Bundle can be redeemed for any Season, including the current season if you have not already redeemed a Premium or Accelerated Battle Pass.

Will I experience any updates even if I don’t purchase the expansion?

Yes! There will continue to be base game updates that Seasonal and Eternal characters can access outside of the expansion content.
